Mr. Yousuf Khalid Anwer is an Associate who has been with the Firm since 2020. During this period he has served on both the Firm’s Corporate as well as Litigation Teams whilst working closely with the Partners of the Firm.

With the Litigation Team, Yousuf frequently advises and represents clients with respect to disputes and issues pertaining to banking law, tax/customs matters, white collar crime, regulatory issues, company law rights, competition law, international trade, trust law, and labour/service matters. With the Corporate Team, Yousuf’s experience includes working on mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructuring, public private partnerships, engineering and construction contracts, and working on shareholders’ agreements.

Historically, Yousuf has worked on some of the largest tax cases (in terms of value) in Pakistan which includes the litigation challenging the Sindh Infrastructure Cess, Gas Infrastructure Development Cess, Tax on Deemed Rental Income, Capital Value Tax, and Super Tax to name a few.

Yousuf completed his schooling from the Karachi Grammar School in 2015, and thereafter graduated with a B.A. (Distinction in all Subjects) in Economics from Cornell University in 2018, followed by an LLB (Hons.) from the University of London in 2020. In 2022 he was called to the Bar of England and Wales at Inner Temple after completing the Bar Professional Training Course.
